Overview

A Shadow caster at 19

This Priest stacks shadow damage, close to 190 with the full set, and plays as a burst caster: Shadow Word: Pain, Mind Blast and Starshards, with Psychic Scream, Confounding Flash and Power Word: Shield to stay alive. Blackout's stuns and 2% spell hit from the gear make the damage land.

Gear and professions

Five pieces are Tailoring crafts that bind on pickup, so you need Tailoring yourself, and the Minor Recombobulator needs Engineering. Witching Stave and the Darkweave Breeches are Bind on Equip, so the Auction House is the quick route.

Playing it

Range and pressure

Shadow Reach adds range to your shadow spells, so stay back and keep Shadow Word: Pain on as many enemies as you can. Mind Blast on cooldown, Starshards when you have a moment.

Survive first

Twilight Focus keeps your spells from being pushed back, and the shield stops interrupts. Shield early, not when you are already low.
