19 Balance Druid
Forever reworked Wrath and gave Balance a handful of cheap talents, so a caster Druid is a real option at 19.

Blood Fury — Short cooldown, large burst window. The best Rogue racial here.
Hardiness — Passive stun resistance — always on, nothing to forget.
Berserking — Attack speed when things are going badly.
Regeneration — Real survivability, better paired with a regen buff.
Will of the Forsaken — One of the best PvP racials in the game for a CC target.
Shadow Resistance — Blunts Priests and Warlocks.
Cannibalize — A weak free bandage — usable in stealth.
Stoneform — Counters bleeds from Rogue, Warrior and Hunter, and adds armour briefly.
Frost Resistance — Useful against Frost Mages, little else.
Find Treasure — Twinking is expensive; every edge helps.
Escape Artist — Counters the CC of four other classes.
Engineering Specialization — Access to gadgets other races can't reach yet.
Perception — Spot other Rogues and Druids while they can't spot you.
Sword Specialization — Passive hit chance if you run swords.
Quickness — Flat dodge increase.
Shadowmeld — No cooldown share with Stealth — restealth instantly, and eat or drink safely.
Four Stormrider's pieces bind on pickup, so only a Leatherworker can wear them.
Needed to use the Minor Recombobulator, which heals, restores mana and breaks Polymorph on a teammate.
The Reinforced Woolen Shoulders are Bind on Equip, so buy them instead.
Fishing — The Lucky Fishing Hat needs a point of Fishing to wear, and it comes from a rare fish hand-in.
First Aid — Bandages heal without mana between fights.
Cooking — Only for the Curiously Tasty Omelet's Well Fed bonus.
Fifteen points: Improved Wrath, Moonglow and Nature's Reach in Balance, then Nature's Focus in Restoration so Wrath survives pushback. Every point makes your damage cheaper, longer-ranged or harder to interrupt.
One battle and one guardian elixir at a time.
One potion per fight; they share a cooldown.
Forever reworked Wrath and gave Balance a handful of cheap talents, so a caster Druid is a real option at 19. This build stacks spell power (around 130 with the full set) and leans on a cheap Wrath, Moonfire and roots, with bear form and heals as the safety net.
Wrath's base damage is low in Forever (31 to 36), but it scales well with spell power: with this set it lands for roughly 110. Improved Wrath halves its cost, so you can keep casting it for a long time.
Four pieces are Leatherworking crafts that bind on pickup, so you need Leatherworking yourself, and the Minor Recombobulator needs Engineering. The rest comes from Wailing Caverns, Blackfathom Deeps, Shadowfang Keep and the Warsong Gulch honor vendor.
#showtooltip Bear Form /cancelform [form] /cast [noform] Bear Form
#showtooltip Entangling Roots /cast [@focus,harm,exists] Entangling Roots; Entangling Roots
| Situation | Cast | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Opening on a target at range | Moonfire, then Wrath | Instant damage first, then cheap casts. |
| Melee runs at you | Entangling Roots | Keeps them out of range while you keep casting. |
| Hit while melee is close | Nature's Grasp | The next hit roots the attacker. |
| Too much damage coming in | Bear Form | Armor and health; Bash to stop a heal. |
| A Rogue or Druid around | Faerie Fire | Stops stealth and lowers armor. |
| Low on health and safe | Regrowth or Rejuvenation | Heal up before going back in. |
Nature's Reach adds range and hit to Wrath and Moonfire, so play at the edge of the fight. Root anyone who closes in, then keep casting.
Moonglow and Improved Wrath make your damage cheap, but you have no in-combat regeneration to speak of. Use mana potions early in long fights rather than late.
