Blood Fury — Short cooldown, large burst window. The best Rogue racial here.
Hardiness — Passive stun resistance — always on, nothing to forget.
Berserking — Attack speed when things are going badly.
Regeneration — Real survivability, better paired with a regen buff.
Will of the Forsaken — One of the best PvP racials in the game for a CC target.
Shadow Resistance — Blunts Priests and Warlocks.
Cannibalize — A weak free bandage — usable in stealth.
Stoneform — Counters bleeds from Rogue, Warrior and Hunter, and adds armour briefly.
Frost Resistance — Useful against Frost Mages, little else.
Find Treasure — Twinking is expensive; every edge helps.
Escape Artist — Counters the CC of four other classes.
Engineering Specialization — Access to gadgets other races can't reach yet.
Perception — Spot other Rogues and Druids while they can't spot you.
Sword Specialization — Passive hit chance if you run swords.
Quickness — Flat dodge increase.
Shadowmeld — No cooldown share with Stealth — restealth instantly, and eat or drink safely.
Rocket boots and the rocket helmet give a Warrior gap closers it otherwise lacks.
Feeds your Engineering.
First Aid — Your only self heal. Max it for Heavy Runecloth Bandages.
Cooking — Spider Sausage and Dragonbreath Chili.
Fishing — Gold only.
Arms for critical strikes with a two-hand axe: Axe Specialization, Impale and Deep Wounds, with Sweeping Strikes for groups and Cruelty from Fury.
Deep Fury: Improved Slam for a fast heavy hit, Death Wish for a burst that also makes you immune to fear, Enrage and Flurry for speed.
One battle elixir at a time.
One guardian elixir at a time.
One potion per fight; they share a cooldown.
At 39 the Warrior is a damage dealer first. Both builds swing a slow two-hander: one for critical strikes with axes and Sweeping Strikes, the other for Slam and Death Wish. Intimidating Shout, Hamstring and Pummel handle the rest.
Warriors depend on gear more than any class. Mail is the heaviest armor you can wear before 40, so the plate boots some lists name are out of reach. Plan on Scarlet Monastery runs and a main who can buy the rare drops.
#showtooltip /cast [nocombat,stance:1] Charge; [stance:3] Intercept
#showtooltip Berserker Rage /cast [nostance:3] Berserker Stance; Berserker Rage
| Situation | Use | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Opening | Charge | Closes the gap and stuns briefly. |
| The target runs | Hamstring | Keeps them in reach. |
| The target dodges | Overpower | A hit that can't be dodged. |
| A caster casts | Pummel | Interrupts in Berserker Stance. |
| Several enemies | Intimidating Shout | Fears everyone near you. |
| Low health target | Execute | Finishes them. |
Charge, Rend, Hamstring, then trade blows and use Overpower whenever it lights up. In the Fury build, Death Wish plus Slam is your burst window.
Intercept and Hamstring keep you in reach; Berserker Rage breaks fear so you don't lose the target.
