Blood Fury — Short cooldown, large burst window. The best Rogue racial here.
Hardiness — Passive stun resistance — always on, nothing to forget.
Berserking — Attack speed when things are going badly.
Regeneration — Real survivability, better paired with a regen buff.
Will of the Forsaken — One of the best PvP racials in the game for a CC target.
Shadow Resistance — Blunts Priests and Warlocks.
Cannibalize — A weak free bandage — usable in stealth.
Stoneform — Counters bleeds from Rogue, Warrior and Hunter, and adds armour briefly.
Frost Resistance — Useful against Frost Mages, little else.
Find Treasure — Twinking is expensive; every edge helps.
Escape Artist — Counters the CC of four other classes.
Engineering Specialization — Access to gadgets other races can't reach yet.
Perception — Spot other Rogues and Druids while they can't spot you.
Sword Specialization — Passive hit chance if you run swords.
Quickness — Flat dodge increase.
Shadowmeld — No cooldown share with Stealth — restealth instantly, and eat or drink safely.
Bombs and gadgets give a Warrior the ranged tricks it otherwise lacks.
Feeds your Engineering and sells well.
First Aid — Your only way to heal yourself. Get to 225 for Mageweave bandages.
Fishing — The way to the Lucky Fishing Hat.
Cooking — Only for the Well Fed bonus from the Curiously Tasty Omelet.
Improved Rend makes your bleed hurt, Cruelty adds critical strike chance on every hit, and the last two points make Heroic Strike cheaper.
The same base, with the last two points in Unbridled Wrath so your hits generate extra rage.
One battle and one guardian elixir at a time. They vanish when you die.
One potion per fight; they share a cooldown.
Warriors use no mana, wear mail at this level and hit hard. This guide builds the damage Warrior: a slow, heavy two-hander, Strength on every slot, and talents for critical strikes and bleeds. You switch to a sword and board when you need to defend.
Warriors depend on gear more than most classes. Several pieces are rare world drops or come from zones far above your level, so plan on help from other characters and on the Auction House.
#showtooltip /cast [nocombat] Charge; Hamstring
#showtooltip Battle Shout /cast Bloodrage /cast Battle Shout
| Situation | Use | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Opening a fight | Charge | Closes the gap, stuns briefly and gives you rage. |
| The target tries to run | Hamstring | Slows them so you stay in reach. |
| Any enemy in melee | Rend | A bleed that keeps ticking; with Improved Rend it hurts. |
| The enemy dodges | Overpower | A strong hit that can't be dodged, only usable right after a dodge. |
| A caster starts a spell | Shield Bash | Interrupts the cast; needs a shield. |
Charge in, put up Rend, and keep the target in reach with Hamstring. Overpower the moment they dodge, and spend spare rage on Heroic Strike.
Whatever else happens, keep your healer alive. A Warrior who sticks to the enemy that is hitting the healer wins more fights than one chasing kills.
