Blood Fury — Short cooldown, large burst window. The best Rogue racial here.
Hardiness — Passive stun resistance — always on, nothing to forget.
Berserking — Attack speed when things are going badly.
Regeneration — Real survivability, better paired with a regen buff.
Will of the Forsaken — One of the best PvP racials in the game for a CC target.
Shadow Resistance — Blunts Priests and Warlocks.
Cannibalize — A weak free bandage — usable in stealth.
Stoneform — Counters bleeds from Rogue, Warrior and Hunter, and adds armour briefly.
Frost Resistance — Useful against Frost Mages, little else.
Find Treasure — Twinking is expensive; every edge helps.
Escape Artist — Counters the CC of four other classes.
Engineering Specialization — Access to gadgets other races can't reach yet.
Perception — Spot other Rogues and Druids while they can't spot you.
Sword Specialization — Passive hit chance if you run swords.
Quickness — Flat dodge increase.
Shadowmeld — No cooldown share with Stealth — restealth instantly, and eat or drink safely.
As for every twink: gadgets and bombs that work before level 20.
Crafts the Deviate Scale Belt in this list, if you have a leather supplier.
Useful if your main pays for the materials.
First Aid — A heal that costs no mana. Get to 225 for Mageweave bandages.
Fishing — The way to the Lucky Fishing Hat and Nat Pagle's boots.
Cooking — Only for the Well Fed bonus from the Curiously Tasty Omelet.
Every point that makes your roots better (Nature's Grasp, its improvement and Improved Entangling Roots), and the last two in Natural Shapeshifter so changing form costs less.
One battle and one guardian elixir at a time. They vanish when you die.
One potion per fight; they share a cooldown.
At this level the Druid isn't the best at any single job, but it does two things nobody else can: shift into a bear to break free of crowd control, and root enemies in place. This guide builds around exactly that, with Stamina and Intellect gear and every talent in roots and shapeshifting.
Most pieces are green world drops that need the right suffix ("of the Eagle" for most, "of Stamina" for the bracers). Farming them can take months, so check the Auction House often.
#showtooltip Regrowth /cast [target=player] Regrowth
#showtooltip Bear Form /cast Bear Form
| Situation | Use | Why |
|---|---|---|
| An enemy chases a teammate | Entangling Roots | Pins them in place; with the talents it is hard to break. |
| Melee enemies on you | Nature's Grasp | Roots whoever hits you next. |
| You are rooted or slowed | Bear Form | Shifting frees you. |
| A Druid or Hunter pet | Hibernate | Puts a beast or a shapeshifted Druid to sleep. |
| A teammate is hurt | Rejuvenation, then Regrowth | Heal over time first, then a bigger heal. |
Your job is to support: root the enemies chasing your carriers, top up whoever needs it, and pass your spare potions to the players who need them more.
Bear form gets you out of roots and slows, and a Swiftness Potion gives you a burst. Water helps too: aquatic form is fast.
